The Tourist Resort of Penha will receive, on Saturday, September 12, a CãoMinhada integrated in the program "Summer is at Penha 2026". The activity consists of a mountain walk accompanied by pets, combining physical exercise, contact with nature, socializing and animal welfare. The meeting is scheduled for 09:30, at Largo da Comissão, and participation is free and open to all interested parties, with registrations made on site.
The organization recommends that participants arrive from 08:30 to formalize their registrations before the walk begins. The initiative is aimed at families, animal lovers and all those who enjoy outdoor activities, providing the opportunity to discover Penha differently, traversing paths and wooded areas.
The CãoMinhada aims to promote healthy lifestyle habits and reinforce the importance of animal welfare, creating a moment of sharing between people and animals. The activity is part of enhancing the mountain as a meeting and enjoyment space, within a program that crosses nature, leisure, culture and sport.
The event is promoted by ERDAL – School Reference Outdoor Sports and by the Irmandade da Penha, within the summer programming of the Tourist Resort of Penha.
