Angola carried out the first robotic kidney surgeries in the country. Patient Pinto Kafumana was the first to be operated on, after two years suffering from a kidney problem. The surgery proceeded without complications and the surgical time was considered quick, according to a urologist. The milestone represents a significant advance in Angolan medicine, which now has this robotic technology for urological procedures.
