The Socialist Party demanded accountability from the city council regarding the state of security in Lisbon, expressing concern about the current situation and requesting explanations about the measures taken.
The PSD, for its part, adopted a different position, arguing for the need to distinguish between citizens' perception of safety and the concrete reality of the numbers. The party suggests that public perception may not correspond to the available statistical data.
