The Concelho Day of Ponta do Sol will travel through the three parishes of the municipality, celebrating each one. Rui Marques was the central figure who explained the choice of the Campo Municipal dos Canhas to host the solemn session of this municipal celebration.

The solemn session held at the Campo Municipal dos Canhas marked the beginning of the Concelho Day celebrations. Rui Marques took the opportunity to announce the next events scheduled for the remaining parishes.

The celebrations will continue in the parish of Ponta do Sol, followed by Madalena do Mar, thus completing the journey through the three parishes of the municipality. This initiative aims to promote the identity and cohesion of the entire concelho territory.
