Germany to send Patriot missiles to reinforce Ukraine's air defense

Germany announced the sending of Patriot missiles to Ukraine. The decision was made given the intensification of Russian attacks against the country.

The German government has not yet revealed the number of missiles that will be sent nor the date on which the supply will be completed.

The Patriot missile system is one of the main components of the Western air defense systems supplied to Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian invasion. The missiles are designed to intercept aircraft, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles.

The Arouca City Hall will inaugurate on September 12 the 'Center for Experimentation of Artistic Practices', resulting from the requalification of the 'Casarão' of the local secondary school.
