Brazilian Nathally Alves, 20 years old, died after being hit by a car while riding an electric scooter on Friday afternoon, in Winter Garden, Florida, in the United States. The accident occurred at approximately 2:43 PM (local time), in Orange County. Nathally had moved to the United States eight months ago.

According to the preliminary report from the Florida Highway Patrol, a Toyota vehicle was traveling in the outside lane when the scooter began crossing the road on the crosswalk. According to the agents, the scooter entered the car's trajectory, which hit Nathally. A witness told the Florida Highway Patrol that the light was green for the driver at the time of the collision.

The driver of the vehicle, a 69-year-old man who also lived in the area, was not injured in the accident. The Florida Highway Patrol investigates the circumstances of the collision to determine the causes and responsibilities for the accident.
