The Public Security Police detained, on September 7, two men aged 26 and 35, following a police stop carried out by the Integrated Police Station of Santarém, belonging to the District Command of Santarém. The individuals are suspected of the crime of drug trafficking.
During the intervention, the PSP seized 64 doses of hash, among other items related to criminal activity. The police operation was specifically aimed at suppressing drug trafficking in the region.
The detained individuals were brought before the competent judicial authorities for the appropriate legal proceedings. The security forces continue to reinforce actions to combat drug trafficking in the district of Santarém.
