Rui Fernandes, a former referee from Valença, was approved in the access course to the Portuguese Football Federation Delegates Board for the 2026/2027 season.
The Valencian was the first of the three names indicated by the Viana do Castelo Football Association to obtain approval, after successfully completing the different phases of training and assessment.
With this approval, Rui Fernandes became qualified to serve in the national competitions organized by the FPF, representing the Viana do Castelo Football Association.
AFVC congratulated the new delegate, highlighting his work, competence, dedication and professionalism throughout the entire process, emphasizing the importance of another of its agents entering the Federation's delegate structure.
