Quarteira Lifeboat Station intervened yesterday, September 7, to provide assistance to a recreational vessel that went adrift off the coast. The situation occurred during the afternoon, when the vessel lost its ability to navigate under control.
Six people were on board the vessel at the time of the incident. The rescue team was able to locate them and provide the necessary assistance, ensuring the safety of all occupants.
The maritime authorities did not disclose additional information about the causes that led the vessel to go adrift. The incident was reported by the Algarve Marafado portal.
