Karim Benzema was questioned in a playful interaction on EWC's social media about his position among the greatest strikers in football history. The Frenchman responded affirmatively when asked if he was among the top 50, 40, 30, 20, 10, five, and three best strikers of all time. The only negative response came when he was asked if he considered himself the best striker in history.

Benzema stated that the first place among the greatest strikers belongs to Ronaldo Fenômeno, the Brazilian. The striker highlighted the career of the former Brazilian player as the reference for the best striker of all time.

Benzema built a distinguished career at Real Madrid, where he won five Champions League titles and the Ballon d'Or in 2022. The Frenchman also played for Lyon, Al-Ittihad, and most recently, Al-Hilal.
