Workers at Banco do Brasil and Caixa Econômica Federal in the state of Piauí will begin an indefinite strike. The strike movement represents a complete stoppage of activities by employees of these financial institutions in the state.

During the strike, customer service and cash transactions at branches will be completely interrupted. Customers will not be able to be served at the counters of the branches affected by the movement.

However, ATMs will continue to operate normally during the strike period. In this way, customers will still have access to withdrawals and other basic operations through the self-service terminals.

The strike specifically affects workers at Banco do Brasil and Caixa in the state of Piauí, with no mention of the strike extending to other states or financial institutions.
