Pampilhosa da Serra hosted, from September 4 to 6, the first edition of Pampilhosa Pedal Xperience (PPX) Bike Fest, an event that transformed the territory into a destination to discover on two wheels. The festival brought together 60 participants who experienced three days dedicated to cycling, adventure, nature, gastronomy and sharing.
This first edition revealed Pampilhosa da Serra as one of the most exciting destinations for adventure tourism, nature tourism, proximity tourism and authenticity. The event had the support of the Municipality of Pampilhosa da Serra, which promoted the territory through this cycling experience.
The PPX Bike Fest allowed participants to explore the natural beauty of the region while experiencing outdoor activities and local gastronomy. The initiative emerged as a way to boost tourism in the inland area of the country and promote the potential of Serra do Açor.
