The Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans for the Alentejo municipalities of Évora, Grândola and Serpa will receive financial support totaling 84 thousand euros. The order determining these subsidies was published on Tuesday, September 8, in the Official Gazette.
The three Alentejo municipalities covered by this measure will benefit from financial co-participation for the development and implementation of their sustainable mobility plans, which aim to promote more ecological and efficient transport alternatives in their respective cities and municipalities.
Of the total amount of 84 thousand euros, 16,348.50 euros have already been executed in 2025, corresponding to a first phase of financing. The remaining 67,651.50 euros are planned for execution in subsequent periods, allowing the municipalities to continue their urban mobility projects.
This initiative is part of a broader strategy to promote sustainable mobility in Portugal, supporting smaller municipalities such as those in the Alentejo in the transition to more sustainable transport models and in improving the quality of life of their populations.
