Brussels Airport returns to the European high-speed rail network after more than 10 years of absence. The largest airport in Belgium will have a new high-speed service that will connect Brussels Airport to the cities of Cologne and Antwerp. This connection represents the airport's return to the European high-speed rail network, which had not been served by this type of train for more than a decade. The new service will be operated by Deutsche Bahn, the German railway company.
