The Judicial Police arrested a man over 70 years old suspected of aggravated sexual abuse, aggravated sexual harassment, and child pornography against four children from a town in Sintra. The suspect lived just a few meters from the children, which is believed to have facilitated the alleged crimes.
The four victims are aged between 4 and 16, with the youngest being a child of just 4 years old. The crimes are believed to have occurred in the Sintra area, where the man maintained physical proximity to the children.
Investigators from the Judicial Police admit there may be more victims yet to be identified, so the case remains under investigation. Authorities have not ruled out that more people may have been victims of the suspect.
