The Mustard agency developed the awareness campaign "Quem vê caras não vê cartões", which uses a Portuguese saying as the basis to alert the retail sector. The campaign transforms the traditional expression "quem vê caras não vê corações" (who sees faces doesn't see hearts) into a message about payments, underscoring that attention to customers should not make one forget the need to accept payment cards.
The initiative is promoted by three sector associations: AHRESP, which represents Hospitality, Restaurants and Similar businesses in Portugal, ANAREC, which brings together energy retailers, fuel, service stations, parking and car washes, and APED, the Portuguese Association of Distribution Companies.
The creative strategy and the development of the entire campaign are the responsibility of Mustard, which aims to raise awareness among retail professionals about the importance of offering multiple payment methods to consumers.
The campaign thus seeks to raise awareness across the entire retail sector in Portugal, alerting to the need not to neglect electronic payment methods in customer relationships.
