Jardim da Carreira hosted another edition of Bailes do Coreto, an event dedicated to music, dance and socializing that took place throughout a morning and an end of day. The initiative once again transformed this space into a meeting place for the community.
The Litá Folk Band was responsible for bringing the sounds and traditions of Ukrainian dances to the audience. Participants had the opportunity to learn about some rhythms characteristic of this cultural expression and learn the characteristic movements.
Later, the coreto came alive again with an open concert-dance for the community, bringing together people of different ages in an atmosphere marked by entertainment and sharing.
Music and dance brought different cultures and traditions closer together, reinforcing the role of Jardim da Carreira as a space for socializing and cultural exchange. The initiative was organized by the Litá Folk Band and covered by journalist Vitória Botelho.
