The play "Surviving is a Full-Time Job" premieres on September 11 and 12, at 9:30 PM, at Casa de Teatro de Sintra. The piece is a production by Teatro Efémero, written by Miguel Moisés and Carolina Figueiredo, directed by Miguel Moisés and starring Artur Dinis.
The story follows Jorge, a 31-year-old architect seeking stability while dividing his time between temporary jobs, job interviews, call center calls, and small strategies to hide from his parents the economic difficulties he is going through. It is a tragicomic monologue that blends humor and vulnerability to portray a reality in which survival seems to transform into a full-time job.
The play addresses the difficulties faced by a generation marked by precariousness, the housing crisis, and the challenges of entering adult life. Reservations can be made by phone at 219 233 719 or by email at [email protected].
