The Socialist Party (PS) will abstain on the motion of censure against the Government. The position was defined by the party leadership, who defended abstention as the posture to adopt.
The PS parliamentary group meets this Tuesday, before the parliamentary debate on the motion of censure. This meeting will serve to align the position of the socialist deputies before the vote.
The motion of censure against the Government will be debated and voted on in Parliament, with the PS choosing not to speak either in favor of or against the executive, thus choosing abstention as a form of political positioning.
