Governor Tarcísio de Freitas, candidate for reelection by Republicanos in São Paulo, participated in an event on Paulista Avenue this Monday (7) where he commented on the recent revelations involving Minister Alexandre de Moraes, from the Supreme Federal Court, and banker Daniel Vorcaro, from Banco Master. Tarcísio stated that these revelations require a response.
The governor adopted a more moderate tone compared to the same event held last year. In 2023, Tarcísio had used harsher terms like "tyranny" and "dictatorship" when referring to the minister. This time, he demanded an "institutional response" and emphasized that "no one is above the law."
According to Tarcísio, when there are doubts about the conduct and exercise of the magistracy, an institutional response needs to be given. He stated that it is time for the court to unite to investigate and give the answer that society needs.
