The Government and the European Investment Bank (EIB) approved a 1.5 billion euro credit line aimed at the construction and rehabilitation of approximately 50 thousand social housing units in Portugal. The agreement for the first tranche of the loan, worth 500 million euros, was signed on Monday, October 7. This credit line represents a significant investment in the social housing sector in Portugal, seeking to address the housing needs of the population. The financing will allow for the expansion of the public housing stock and the improvement of living conditions for thousands of Portuguese families.
