The Parish Church of Cerdal in Valença hosted the Feast in Honor of Saint Carlo Acutis, which took place on September 25, 26, and 27. Carlo Acutis was born in London on May 3, 1991, raised in Milan, and died at just 15 years old on October 12, 2006, from leukemia. He was beatified in 2020 and officially canonized on September 7, 2025.

The three-day program included religious moments such as the reception of the relic of Saint Carlo Acutis, loaned by the Parish of Santa Maria de Duas Igrejas in Vila Verde, celebration of the Eucharist, candle procession, Eucharistic Adoration, recitation of the Rosary, and Solemn Procession. The programming also featured fellowship, musical entertainment with "Os Teimosos" and the Trio Maria Morgadinho, Rui Sousa and Vítor Fernandes, as well as activities for children and young people.

The initiative was organized by the Youth Group "Children of Mary," which is currently preparing for their participation in World Youth Day Seoul 2027. The feast is part of a set of initiatives by the group to raise funds that will enable the participation of young people at WYD 2027, while also contributing to the dissemination of the life and figure of Saint Carlo Acutis.
