The Municipality of Chamusca hosts, on September 20, the third edition of the Solidarity Walk, an initiative promoted by Da Terra Pharmacy.Chamusca. The event aims to raise donations to support the medical treatments of Tiago Laranjinha, a young local man who is facing a serious oncological disease.
The walk will have a 6.5-kilometer route through the town center, combining physical activity with moments of socializing. Along the route, several surprises are prepared for the participants. The gathering is scheduled for 08:45, at the entrance of the organizing pharmacy, where the participation kits will be distributed.
Donations are of free value, with each participant's contribution being at their discretion in exchange for participation in the walk. The money raised will be used to support Tiago Laranjinha and his family in the costs of the necessary medical treatments.
Salomé Brogueira, technical director of Da Terra Pharmacy.Chamusca, explained that the initiative was born with the aim of associating health and well-being promotion with community solidarity, allowing the local population to contribute in a practical way to help a neighbor in need.
