The crime occurred on April 7, 2025. At the time, the couple was inside a vehicle when an argument broke out between them.
During the argument, the defendant squeezed the victim's neck "with force," causing her death by strangulation.
The man was placed in preventive detention after being brought before the first judicial hearing.
