Families of GNR who died in the Douro were compensated

Two years ago, a helicopter crashed into the Douro river, resulting in the death of five GNR military personnel. The families of these military personnel have already received the compensation owed by the Government. The only survivor of the accident was the helicopter pilot. The accident occurred two years ago, at which time the victims lost their lives during service.
