The Asset Recovery Office (GRA) of the Judicial Police concluded two patrimonial and financial investigations related to a drug empire. The investigations aimed to track and seize assets and financial resources associated with criminal activities.
As part of these operations, assets valued at millions of euros were arrested. The GRA managed to identify and confiscate a significant quantity of goods that will be used to compensate the State and possibly returned to victims.
The GRA's investigations are part of a broader strategy to combat organized crime in Portugal. This type of operation demonstrates the authorities' effort to financially attack criminal organizations, removing the resources they use to perpetrate their crimes.
