Urgent intervention cuts off water in Laranjal

The water supply was interrupted this morning in the Laranjal area, in Santo António, in Funchal, due to an urgent intervention on the distribution network. The Funchal Municipal Council reported that the work began during the morning and is expected to last approximately seven hours.

The interruption affects Travessa do Laranjal, Vereda do Laranjal Pequeno up to number 9/12, and Estrada do Laranjal up to number 39/40. The council indicated that Águas do Funchal is carrying out the intervention work.
