The pop music legend, known for his flashy outfits and unmistakable glasses, surprised everyone by revealing that he transformed parts of his own knees into jewelry. After undergoing surgery, the singer decided to keep his kneecaps. The right kneecap was incorporated into a gold necklace, while the left one became a brooch. The idea came right after the surgical procedure, when he asked the surgeon to keep the removed pieces.
"When they removed my kneecaps, I asked the surgeon if I could keep them, which caused quite a surprise," the star revealed. The doctor responsible for the operation stated that Elton John's knee was "the worst I had ever operated on." The singer managed to keep the so-called "parts" and transformed them into personalized jewelry.
