Redondo: Archaeological projects mobilised more than 150 students and volunteers

More than 150 students and archaeology volunteers from around the world passed through the municipality of Redondo, in the district of Évora, between May and the end of August, involved in various local archaeological projects.

The municipal council of Redondo revealed that these young people participated in multiple archaeological projects and obtained important learning experiences.

The archaeology of Redondo and the Serra d'Ossa area provided these participants with a significant learning experience. The projects counted on the participation of international students and volunteers, demonstrating global interest in the archaeological richness of the Alentejo region.
