PRR: Portugal fulfilled all targets for Culture, Government reports

Portugal met all targets established under the Recovery and Resilience Plan for the Culture sector, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport announced. 330.4 million euros were mobilized to achieve the defined objectives.

In the Cultural Heritage component, financing contracted with the European Union reached 243.2 million euros. This amount allowed for supporting various interventions for the preservation and enhancement of Portuguese heritage.

The full achievement of targets represents an important milestone for the Portuguese cultural sector, which faced significant challenges in recent years. The RRP allocated substantial funds to boost the Culture area throughout the country.

The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport confirmed that all indicators foreseen in the plan were successfully met, demonstrating the country's execution capacity in the cultural component of the recovery program.
