Train completes 100 days with Pix available for payment; service reaches all stations

TrensRJ will complete 100 days of operation with Pix payment available for all passengers. This milestone also marks the availability of the new payment method at 100% of the stations in Rio de Janeiro's rail system.

The Pix payment operation began on May 30. As of the last survey conducted on August 31, 657,606 ticket payments had been recorded through this method. On weekdays, Pix reaches an average of 10,000 transactions per day.

According to TrensRJ, the numbers reinforce passenger adoption of the payment alternative. To use the service, the customer makes the payment directly at the station ticket counter and receives the single-ride ticket.
