The overall project for the execution of infrastructure works in the 11 residential nuclei of the Santa Maria Airport Housing Park has been completed, the Government of the Azores announced today. This completion now allows progress to an intervention budgeted at 23.7 million euros, aimed at the requalification of that housing park.
The information was provided by the regional secretary for Youth, Housing and Employment, Maria João Carreiro. The announcement marks an important step toward improving housing conditions in that area of Santa Maria island, in the Azores.
The project covers all 11 residential nuclei that make up the Santa Maria Airport Housing Park, representing a comprehensive and large-scale intervention for that community.
With this investment of 23.7 million euros, the Regional Government intends to requalify existing infrastructure, aiming to improve the quality of life of residents in that residential area of the archipelago.
