The Convento de Cristo, World Heritage Monument, expects to reopen to the public during this month, after the completion of intervention works. The monument had received funding of 5.2 million euros from the Recovery and Resilience Plan for these interventions.
The monument's director stated that, even after the works currently underway are finished, new projects will continue to be developed at the Convento de Cristo. This promise of continuity comes in the context of the imminent reopening of the space to visitors.
