The Federal Public Ministry submitted an opinion to the Superior Court of Justice arguing that short-term rentals, including through digital platforms, are considered a residential activity.

The MPF argues that any restrictions on this type of rental in condominiums depend on an express prohibition in the building's regulations.

The opinion was presented on Friday (28), representing a new chapter in the debate about short-term rentals in condominiums.
