Some 5,000 migrants are living on the streets and beaches of Ceuta, in Spain, without hygiene and security conditions. Many of these migrants entered the city during a massive invasion of people.
A Moroccan man, cousin of the perpetrator, was among the migrants who entered Ceuta during that invasion. The man went to his cousin and asked her to stay at her house.
The woman refused the housing request made by her cousin. The refusal triggered an argument between the two relatives.
Following the argument, the woman killed her cousin with a knife. The crime occurred after the man had entered the Spanish city as part of the massive migratory flow.
