Vouguinhas, procession and bull run open Estremoz City Festivities

The Estremoz City Festivities — Exaltation of the Holy Cross begin this Friday, September 4th. The first day's program includes a procession, a bull run, musical performances and the opening of the popular festival at Rossio Marquês de Pombal.

Vouguinhas is the main musical name on the first day of festivities, taking to the main stage of the event. The Portuguese group is responsible for entertaining the opening night of the celebrations.

The Traditions event is one of the highlights of the program, attracting visitors to the historic center of the Alentejo city. The festivities combine religious tradition, with the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, and popular entertainment, including activities for all ages.

Pictorin brings together artists from different cultures for four days in Santarém
