Musicians come together to talk about music and cultural transformation

Correio de Sintra4 September 2026 at 10:46

The AMAS – Auditório Municipal António Silva hosts on Saturday, September 5, a round table discussion on the theme "Musicians of the Sintra Line," between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM. The event brings together musicians from different generations linked to the Sintra Line, namely Diego El Gavi, Edvânia Moreno and Mirai, who will share their experiences and musical languages.

The initiative is part of the programming of MUSCARIUM#12, a festival that promotes the encounter between different artistic expressions and the communities of the Sintra territory. The encounter is a co-programming of Ponto Kultural and teatromosca.

The objective of the conversation is to promote the sharing of experiences, journeys and different ways of living and making music in a territory marked by cultural diversity and constant social transformations. The artists will reflect on the relationship between music, territory and cultural identity.

More than a conversation among musicians, the initiative aims to bring artists and the public closer together, creating an open space for listening, sharing and reflection on the role of music in the construction and cultural transformation of the Sintra Line.
