Fuel prices soar: Diesel could reach 2.169 euros per liter next week

Fuel prices in Portugal are expected to experience a very sharp increase next week, between September 7 and 13. The forecast indicates that diesel could reach 2.169 euros per liter.

According to the estimates presented, diesel could increase by 15 cents per liter, while gasoline is expected to rise by 12 cents per liter. These values represent significant increases for consumers.

The final values still depend on the closing of international oil markets. Additionally, a possible change in the ISP (Imposto Sobre Produtos Petrolíferos - Excise Tax on Petroleum Products) discount by the Government is at stake, which could influence the final price charged for fuels.
