Azores Firefighters Receive New Ambulances and Defibrillator Monitors

Azores firefighters will receive new emergency equipment through a significant investment. Eleven firefighter associations in the region will benefit from this modernization program.

In total, 12 ambulances and 70 transport defibrillators will be distributed. This equipment aims to improve emergency medical response capabilities in the region.

The total investment exceeds 1.68 million euros. The funds were made available through the Recovery and Resilience Plan, the European program to support economic recovery.
