A woman was arrested in Viana do Castelo on suspicion of cannabis cultivation. The arrest took place as part of an investigation into drug trafficking that had been ongoing for about a month, conducted by the military personnel of the Republican National Guard.
The authorities executed two search warrants, one at a residence and another in a vehicle, as part of the police procedures carried out during the investigation.
The operation resulted in the seizure of seven cannabis plants. The information was released by the Territorial Command of Viana do Castelo, responsible for the operation.
