An oncological patient traveled on an Azores Airlines flight on Wednesday morning and was left without access to their luggage. The passenger was transporting in their luggage a respiratory ventilator and medication provided by the hospital, necessary for their treatment.
The oncological patient told the newspaper Açoriano Oriental that they had still not managed to recover their belongings, which put their health and well-being at risk during the period they were without the equipment and medication.
The situation refers to a flight by the airline Azores Airlines, which operates air connections to and from the Azores, being a carrier with a significant presence in the autonomous region.
