José Benlloch will run again in the municipal elections of May 2027. The current mayor of Vila-real has finally decided to run again for the Mayoralty, thus clearing one of the main unknowns that have loomed over the political future of the city for months. The socialist will face a new appointment at the polls after a long period of reflection in which not only political issues weighed, but also personal and family aspects.

Lula's government says INSS queue is cleared; 224 thousand requests still await response

The Palácio do Planalto announced that it considers the INSS benefits queue cleared, after the number of requests under analysis (1.252 million) fell below the new requests registered in August (about 1.3 million).
