Vila de Rei in the National Top 5 for BUPi in August

oRegiões3 September 2026 at 18:30

In August, the Municipality of Vila de Rei once again stood out nationally within the scope of BUPi (Single Property Counter), joining the Top 5 of Portuguese municipalities with the highest percentage of georeferenced property records. Throughout the month, more than 600 new property articles were registered, surpassing the values achieved in the previous month and raising to nearly 25,000 the number of properties already identified in the municipality.

These results reinforce the constant mobilization and sense of responsibility of the Vilarregense population in identifying, protecting and enhancing their property heritage. The georeferencing of properties plays a fundamental role in ensuring the legal security of owners, as well as in land planning and wildfire prevention.

The Municipality reminds all owners that the registration process remains completely free until the end of September. Residents who have not yet identified their land can do so by going to the BUPi counter, located on the first floor of the Town Hall building, by calling 274 890 008 or by email at [email protected].
