Government authorizes 6.7 million euros to stabilize slope on Via Expresso

The Government Council of Madeira authorized funding of 6.7 million euros for the stabilization of a slope on Via Expresso, one of the main roads in the region.

The decision was made by the Government Council, although the ordinance with this authorization had been previously published in JORAM, the Official Gazette of the Autonomous Region of Madeira.

The amount allocated for this intervention aims to ensure the safety and stability of a hillside along this road, which is a fundamental transport infrastructure for mobility on the island.

The stabilization works aim to prevent possible landslides or collapses that may pose risks to Via Expresso users and road traffic in the region.
