AIMA (Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum) announced a 17% growth in its workforce over two years, presenting this number as a sign of reinforcement of the agency's human resources.
However, the Migration Technicians Union reacted to the statement, considering that the number advanced by AIMA is "misleading" and does not reflect the reality experienced within the agency.
According to the union, during the same two-year period, 19% of AIMA's workers left, which means that the real balance between admissions and departures is negative.
