The Education Councilor of the Castellón City Council, María España, responded to the statements made by the Compromís municipal group regarding the implementation of the EduClima Thermal Comfort Plan. This plan was promoted by the Valencian Generalitat with the aim of improving the air conditioning conditions in educational centers in the region.
María España highlighted that the Castellón City Council is accompanying the educational centers to expedite the implementation of this plan as much as possible. The goal is to accelerate the necessary processes so that schools can benefit from the air conditioning improvements planned by the Generalitat program.
The conflict arose from prior criticisms or statements by the Compromís municipal group, which questioned the way the plan is being implemented in the city of Castellón. The councilor's response aims to clarify the collaboration between the local government and the educational centers in this process.
The EduClima Plan represents a significant investment by the Valencian Generalitat to ensure better thermal conditions in educational establishments, an issue that has been particularly relevant given the region's climate and the need to adapt school facilities to the needs of students and teachers.
