Sessions in the Spanish Congress of Deputies often produce images that generate comments, and on this occasion the focus fell on the Minister of Defense, Margarita Robles. She was sitting on the blue bench alongside the rest of the Government members during a plenary session.
All the ministers present, including those from the Sumar party, stood up when Pedro Sánchez finished his first intervention in the session. The members of the executive joined the applause that was coming from the socialist bench towards the president of the Government.
The image that drew the most attention was that of Margarita Robles, who briefly participated in the applause for the head of the executive. This was Sánchez's first intervention after his decision to continue in office after a period of reflection.
