The Town Council of Carboneras, in Almería, approved in plenary session on July 7 the declaration of nullity of the construction permit for the El Algarrobico hotel. This municipal decision was confirmed by municipal sources to the EFE agency. To date, four appeals have been filed against this nullification of the permit. The appeals were filed by entities opposed to the town council's decision, which decided to annul the permit that had been granted for the construction of the hotel. The El Algarrobico case thus continues to generate legal controversy, with multiple stakeholders fighting for their interests regarding this hotel project on the coast of Almería.
