The Local Health Unit of Alto Minho (ULSAM) will reinforce its medical staff with nine vacancies for career progression to the category of Senior Graduate Assistant, across eight different specialties. The vacancies were approved by the Government and cover the specialties of Anesthesiology, Gynecology and Obstetrics, General and Family Medicine, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Radiology, Public Health, with one vacancy each, and Internal Medicine, with two vacancies.
The category of Senior Graduate Assistant represents the highest level of the medical career, intended for healthcare professionals with extensive experience, technical-scientific differentiation, and the capacity to hold leadership, management, and coordination positions in departments, services, or functional units.
The President of the Board of Directors of ULSAM, José Manuel Cardoso, stated that the allocation of these vacancies by the Government reinforces the qualification and differentiation of the institution, meets the expectations of professionals, and makes the National Health Service more attractive, ensuring the continuity of healthcare provision to patients.
