The Ministry of Finance announced that the tax authority proceeded with the payment of 2.660 million euros in income tax refunds. The average value of each refund was 980 euros.

According to an official source from the Ministry of Finance, by August 31, the tax authority processed 6.505 million income tax declarations.

These data refer to the processing period of the income tax declarations submitted by Portuguese taxpayers during the tax campaign.
